Aero X Europe Welcomes Tara D’Arcy-Wykes as Operations Director

Aero X Europe is pleased to welcome Tara D’Arcy-Wykes as Operations Director, strengthening the company’s customer engagement, operational coordination and support for aviation specialists.

Tara joins Aero X Europe with more than 25 years’ experience across the Royal Navy, NHS and private sector. Her career has included operational and business management, multidisciplinary team leadership, resource coordination, quality and compliance, service improvement, recruitment and staff development.

Although the sectors have varied, the focus throughout Tara’s career has remained consistent: understanding what people need, bringing together the right expertise and creating the structure that allows teams to work effectively.

Strengthening the Customer Experience

In her role as Operations Director, Tara will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their requirements and maintain clear communication as opportunities move towards delivery.

She will help coordinate the people, information and resources around each requirement, ensuring that Aero X Europe’s technical specialists have the support they need to focus on engineering, certification and regulatory delivery.

For customers, Tara’s appointment provides another accessible and experienced point of contact within the business. Her role will help keep requirements visible, conversations focused and agreed actions moving forward.

Supporting Joined-Up Aviation Delivery

Aviation engineering and change programmes often involve several organisations and specialist disciplines. Operators, design organisations, CAMOs, maintenance providers, OEMs, suppliers and regulatory authorities may each hold part of the information or capability required for successful delivery.

Strong technical expertise is essential, but so are effective communication, good working relationships and disciplined coordination.

Tara’s experience of leading teams, managing complex services and working across organisational boundaries will support Aero X Europe’s joined-up approach to aviation delivery. She will help maintain communication between customers, partners, specialists and the company’s technical team while ensuring that technical decisions remain with the appropriately qualified experts.

Developing Aero X Europe’s Specialist Network

Tara will also support the continued development of Aero X Europe’s network of aviation professionals.

Her previous experience in recruitment, resource management and team development gives her a valuable understanding of both sides of the relationship: what organisations need from specialist personnel and what experienced professionals need to perform effectively.

This will help Aero X Europe identify and engage suitable expertise for customer requirements while building trusted, long-term relationships across the aviation sector.
